Andrea Carneiro named as Director of Sales & Marketing at The St. Regis Mexico City
Starwood Hotels and Resorts, Latin America Division today announced that Andrea Carneiro has joined The St. Regis Mexico City as director of sales and marketing. Formerly the Director of Sales and Marketing at The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort, Andrea brings more than a decade of experience in the Mexican luxury hospitality industry and is perfectly suited to expand the Hotel’s Sales and Marketing strategies. In her new role, Andrea will be tasked with solidifying the hotel’s position in the market by developing and implementing innovative initiatives in order to drive revenue and awareness while simultaneously creating new business opportunities in existing and emerging markets.

Throughout the span of her career, Andrea Carneiro has focused on sales and marketing within the luxury hospitality industry. Prior to joining The St. Regis Mexico City, Andrea served as the director of sales and marketing for The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort and Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit, where she increased market share in existing markets and maximized new business development opportunities in emerging markets. Previously, she spent five years at Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita, where she grew from sales manager to director of sales. Andrea has held sales and operations positions at a variety of additional hotels and resorts throughout Mexico. Andrea completed her undergraduate education in business at Funda??o Getulio Vargas in S?o Paulo, Brazil; continued her business education at Ecole Sup?rieure de Commerce de Pau in Pau, France followed by a degree from Ecole H?teli?re de Lausanne in Lausanne, Switzerland, the oldest hotel school in the world. With all her travels and experience around the globe, Andrea Carneiro is fluent in five languages. Her other passions include yoga, arts and culture, and gastronomy.
